Eagle Project Improves High School Wrestling Room

For this Eagle Project, Jack Young, a member of Troop 719 led construction of 6 wooden benches for the new wrestling room at Lake Highlands High School (LHHS(. During his junior year, the new wrestling room was opened. His coach was not happy one day after he could barely open the doors because of all of the shoes piled in front of the door. His coach wanted seating and storage to help solve the issue, which is when Jack started to have the discussion about the benches with his coach. Jack is in drafting at LHHS and worked with his teacher to design the benches. After several work days/weeks, the benches were finished and delivered to LHHS at the beginning of summer. Troop 719 and Lake Highlands High School are grateful and appreciative of the work Jack did in his Eagle Project.
